Frequently Asked Questions

Find quick answers to common questions about pottery, glass fusing, and studio policies. We're here to help you get creating faster!

•
What should I wear to the studio?

We recommend comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little dusty! While pottery glazes wash out, glass fusing and ceramics can be a bit messy. Close-toed shoes are always a good idea.

•
How long does a pottery project take?

Most artists spend between 1 to 2 hours selecting and painting their pieces. Glass fusing projects can take a similar amount of time depending on complexity.

•
When can I pick up my finished art?

When you finish painting we are going to dip the pottery in a clear glaze and fire it. That process takes about 5-7 days. We will tell you when your pottery is expected to be ready so you will know when to come back and get it.

•
Can we bring young children to the studio?

Yes, it’s great for all ages. We’ve even had newborns visit to get their tiny footprints on a commemorative plate or mug. Our only requirement is that young children are accompanied by someone who will be responsible for them.

Studio Policies

•
General Respect

Please treat our staff, studio, and other guests with kindness and respect. Children should be supervised by an adult at all times.

•
Food & Beverages

Outside food and drinks are welcome. Cakes and cupcakes are permitted only for reserved party room rentals. We are BYOB-friendly for guests 21 or older.

•
Pottery & Pickup

Only pottery provided by our studio can be painted or fired. Pieces are ready for pickup in one week and held for 30 days before disposal.

•
Reservations & Service

Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are recommended for busy times. We reserve the right to refuse service for disruptive or disrespectful behavior.

•
Group Requirements

Groups larger than 6 require a reservation. Groups over 8 require a party room rental and are subject to a room fee and 15% gratuity.

•
Group Integrity

Large groups may not split tables or reservations to avoid policies. Non-painting guests are included in the total group count.

These policies help us ensure a creative and comfortable experience for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation!
